[Policy] [BW-board] AGM planning call for committee reports by April 15

I am only directing this to the policy committee.  There has been way too
much full board communications to keep everything going to everyone right
now and this is specific to our committee.

 

Because there has been not committee work in the year we are reporting for I
suggest that you indicate what the key objective/direction is for this
committee going forward and  a brief about what the purpose of the policy
committee is.  Probably only a paragraph.  

 

An question to all of us?  Each committee can have the opportunity to
present during the AGM. Because this committee is just restarting should we
present or not?

Kaye, What would you suggest for the Policy Committee?  I took over heading
this at our last AGM (and I can't remember who was the previous chair), but
the new committee didn't actually meet until this fiscal/calendar year.

Not at the moment.  That is something we are working on.  I would suggest
concise but enough so that a member that has not been engaged in our work
can understand the report.  But attractive so people feel that they can
support our work.writing it from the member view.

more attractive and streamlined.  This is a call for committee reports.
Please have all reports cover the period of April 1 to December 31 and
submit them to me by April 15th so that we might complete the annual report
in plenty of time to share it with our members prior to the meeting. We will
still have the committees report on this verbally during the AGM.
