With an update of the Pedestrian and Cycling Strategies scheduled for
2020, I'd like to get together and discuss some policy ideas we might
bring to the table in 2020. <br></div><div><br></div><div>We also have an intern University of
Manitoba student enrolled in the Faculty of Earth, Environment, and
Resources who has chosen to work with us as part of a class project. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Some of the policy ideas we would like to prioritize and explore further are as follows: <br></div><ul><li>
Snow Clearing Policies </li><li>Vision Zero and Traffic Calming </li><li>Improved accommodation of people on foot or bike in construction zones </li><li>Inclusion of Walking/Cycling Facilities in Developer Agreements </li><li>Pedestrian and Bicycle Traffic Monitoring Program
