<p>I hope everyone remembers that we are meeting tomorrow at Ian's (130 Claremont Avenue at 1:30)! Since I haven't heard regrets from anyone I am assuming that all can attend.</p>

<p>I haven't heard any feedback to the documents I sent out after our last committee meeting (attached again), and I wasn't able to attend the August board meeting. So... I am hoping those who were there can fill us in on the board's feedback to our two position
statements -- assuming that these were shared? If not, let's use tomorrow to be fully prepared to present these documents at September's board meeting, AND also to consider Mark's bike helmet response letter (that he sent out to the province late Friday)
in light of our proposed next draft policy on helmet use.</p>

<p>Thanks to Ian, Gord and Bill for joining me on Thursday night. I trust the three of you stayed healthy afterwards? I was hit 12 hours later with a very nasty GI upset that has still not fully left me so I hope I didn't pass it on to anyone else. </p>

<p>1. a brief summary of our discussion, decisions and actions to remind us and update Kaye. Note that our next meeting is Monday August 29th, 1:30 p.m. at Ian's. (Kaye, hope that also works for you!)</p>
<p>2. revised Vision Zero position statement that I think(?) is ready to be discussed by the board.</p>
<p>3. partially revised Speed Limit position statement for further work by Ian. Note that highlighted references were from earlier draft and I have never seen these documents. Should we delete?</p>

<p>Any/all thoughts from anyone re these documents is welcome. I won't be at the August board meeting so hopefully Ian can finetune them and share with the board. I hope the discussion regarding these position statements is productive.
