OK, how about I keep whittling away at my "to do" list and we can chat at the June board meeting to set a new meeting day.

I agree. I have way too many commitments right now and I need to focus on some of the pressing things like bike week and the mec ride. let's talk again in June to see if we can find some time then.

Ian and I briefly mentioned this meeting and concluded that there was so much else going on that it’s was going to be a problem for us too. I think that other things on our plate are more pressing and that maybe we should hold off. The problem is that all of us will be busy with things through June. If we are to meet in June I would prefer that to be scheduled after bike week. Also I am in a conference June 14 to 16. Subject: [Policy] Update and next Policy Committee meeting Hi All,
I am back from my travels finally. I had very poor internet access while away so didn't accomplish what I had hoped on my policy committee "to do" list.
>From our last meeting (April 9th), my notes indicate that:
- I had committed to briefly (one page) summarize the Vision Zero document
- I was to contact MPI, the WRHA IMPACT program and Green Action Centre's Safe and Active Routes to School regarding their various positions and access to data on speed limits.
I will get the Vision Zero summary out by this weekend. I received no response from my initial queries from IMPACT and MPI pre-trip, so I spent time this morning following up by both phone and email to the three above.
Ian had committed to do a similar one-page summary on Sustainable Safety. Did I miss that in my overloaded inbox?
Also, someone was going to contact the Winnipeg Police but I can't remember who??
We had decided to next meet on Tuesday May 24th 8:30 p.m. at Ian's house but I am concerned that this may be premature. What do others think? Please let me know if you would be more available in June and if so, when. This would mean we wouldn't have anything prepared for the June Board meeting but perhaps we would be ready for July.
