I honestly don't see why we would want to endorse this--despite all the 
"good words" and "PC slogans".  I find the premise unnecessarily 
alarmist--"deepest crisis in recent memory"??  This is followed by 
nothing substantial in the way of plans to address the problem. Just a 
bunch of high-minded results that are supposed to materialize because 
they "sound good".
     And of course there is nothing at all about cycling.  The 
transportation suggestion is "High-speed rail powered by just renewables".
