I'm forwarding Jackie's email (below) because she had trouble sending it
through the policy list email.  I'm sending this one using both the policy
list and your individual email addresses in case there is a problem.

Jackie is proposing that we meet briefly tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5:30 before
the Bike Winnipeg business meeting begins.  This is okay for me.

Sorry for the short notice. I'd like to have a policy committee meeting
just before the general monthly Bike Winnipeg meeting, just to touch base.
I suggest a meeting at 5:30 pm at the Sport For Life building this Tuesday,
March 11 2014.

I've done a little research on policies, and I have attached a sample
document.

The key things to keep in mind are:
the policies should be clear and simple overarching goals (motherhood
statements) - the What;
the procedures are more detailed - the How.
